This is a handmade wire-wrapped triquetra pendant. You get a choice of two different ones.
The first one is made with silver-plated wire, the pendant is approximately 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". and comes with a 24" silver tone chain and toggle clasp. The 2nd one is made with copper wire, the pendant is approximately 2", and a handcrafted 24" chain and clasp.
The triquetra, also known as a "trinity knot or Celtic knot," is believed to represent the three promises of a relationship, such as to love, honor and protect. It is considered one of the oldest, dating back to as early as 500 BC when it was used to symbolize the triple goddess (maiden-mother-crone). It is often used to represent the 3 fundamental elements – air, water, and earth or the infinite cycle of life. It is also known as a rune of protection.
